The rising and setting of the sun, or a beautiful rainbow painted across the sky, can cause us to pause and reflect on the wonder of God. Every day we see the glory of God in nature. The chirping of birds singing His praise, the blooming of flowers proclaiming His majesty, and the gentle breeze of the wind whispering the peace He brings.
Psalm 29 describes the power of God in a storm: a voice flashing lightening across the sky, a powerful voice roaring across the sky, a voice powerful enough to shatter trees. The voice of God is so powerful, nations mistook His voice for a god. But the voice of God expresses His omnipresence. Whether God whispers or roars, we know He is God. His voice brings us the joy and peace of His love, and as we lift our voices in praise we feel the power of His voice.
